QUADCO FELLING HEADS | B-SERIES SAW HEADSDesigned for heavy and tall timber: 4 independent arms with the “arms down” feature, for increased leverage & greater holding power in tall timber. Two cylinders per set of arms contributes to maximum holding power. All cylinders are cushioned to reduce wear and tear. Large saw base with throat openings 59″ and up to 6.4 sq. ft. accumulating area. |
QUADCO FELLING HEADS | C-SERIES SAW HEADFour-arm-up design with one cylinder and heavy-duty timing bar per set of arms. Optional 40° or 360° lateral tilt available for boom mount applications. Patented 360º wrist system using Quadco’s field proven double reduction gear box and two motors for maximum feller buncher versatility. Model 360-degree “High Torque” fits most applications. Extreme service model “VI” designed for large West Coast timber uses twin pinion to reduce gear tooth loading and improve pinion life. New tilt bearing design using replaceable wear resistant steel plates hardened to maximum Rockwell rating to resist high axial and bending loads. All cylinders cushioned. QUADCO FELLING HEADS | SHEAR HEAD 2900The 2900 Intermittent Disc Saw Head is based on a proven ring saw concept – 100’s sold worldwide. Substantial increase in power and speed with two UPGRADED DIN-Shaft F12-30 Motors, developing 150 hp (vs 96 hp for 2800). Rim speed is 750 rpm (450 rpm for 2800). Rated at 75 gpm and 2800 psi. Dual pinion (vs one for 2800) meaning longer pinion life. Can be equipped with 40-deg, 360-deg or 360VI tilt for added buncher versatility. No significant weight increase from smaller 2800 model. Operating Weight 6500 lbs(w/40-deg), 6900 lbs (w/360-deg), 7400 lbs (w/360VI). Uses replaceable bolt-on holders and larger rotatable 1-3/4″ kerf Quadco teeth. |
QUADCO FELLING HEADS | Intermittent Bar Saw Head 3200The 3200 is a reliable, low-maintenance bar saw head no matter how severe the operating conditions. In smaller timber, several small stems can be pre-bunched by the accumulator arms. Since the tree is held securely and the sawblade swings horizontally, the system produces level, high quality cuts at an impressive rate. These robust heads are built for shift after shift production. |
